Nitika + Jashan
When someone from within the wedding industry entrusts you to capture their own celebration, it’s genuinely humbling and that was exactly the case with Nitika from NS Collection. I had the absolute honour of photographing her and Jashan’s spectacular five-day Sikh wedding, and what a celebration it was! From their pre-wedding photoshoot to the vibrant Shagun, Sangeet, Maaiyan, Mehndi and Choora ceremonies, every event was full of colour, culture, and joy, all leading up to their stunning wedding and reception at Sofitel Melbourne.
Working alongside some of Melbourne’s finest including Films with Saanya, Ritesh Mehndi, and Faadhilah Buksh, made the entire week a creative, laughter-filled experience. Nitika had planned everything to perfection, and her style shone through every detail from her breathtaking jewellery and couture outfits to the thoughtful touches throughout each event. Their warm, easygoing nature made it all flow effortlessly, allowing us to capture cinematic, editorial-style imagery that reflected their connection beautifully. The energy never faded, the dance floor never emptied, and by the end of it all, I didn’t just gain amazing memories, I gained two new friends.
