Some couples feel like old friends from the start and with Aahrabie and Pepy, that was exactly the case. We first connected through other weddings over the years, became friends along the way and when they asked me to capture their own, I was genuinely honoured. Leading up to the wedding, we created two unique pre-wedding shoots – one along the coast, where Aahrabie wore a flowing saree, and the other, a moody, editorial-inspired night session through the city, both very them, and both unforgettable.
The celebrations began with a cocktail night at Panama Dining Room, before the main event: a stunning Hindu wedding ceremony held at Bramleigh Estate. Set beneath a breathtaking outdoor mandap with a mirrored aisle styled by Amica Event Hire, the setting was nothing short of magical. One of the most moving moments was the tying of the thali, as the couple were showered with blessings in the form of cascading petals, a truly beautiful sight to witness and capture.
The weekend concluded with a photoshoot at the State Library before celebrating in spectacular fashion at the elegant Ritz Carlton Melbourne, where the ballroom setup was regal, refined, and the perfect finale for a couple as special as Aahrabie and Pepy.
