Anita Naren Wedding Photography Melbourne

I had a fantastic time with Anita and Naren, shooting their massive Hindu wedding, celebrated beautifully with two events over two weekends.

Beginning with the traditional Hindu Ceremony, at the Reception Centre of  The Shiva Vishnu Temple, an elaborate affair which saw the incredible presence of over 700 well wishers to observe the customs and rituals that would bring together not only the bride and groom, but also their respective families in a celebration full of fun and frolic. Anita was adorned with beautiful jewels from head to toe, and looked stunning in both her traditional and colourful Sari’s. I was lucky enough to be able to capture all the meaningful sacraments, tiny yet important details, and the emotions between the families, friends and couple as they unfolded.

Weekend number two, and day two of celebrations– Reception day! This began with a wedding shoot for the newlywed couple and their bridal party. Everyone looking fantastic in their wedding outfits, having the Carlton Gardens as the beautiful backdrop, being blessed with some great weather and not to mention a great couple to photograph, made for some stunning and exciting shots. We then continued on to Reception, held at the ever stunning Leonda by the Yarra, a scenic location on the day and of course nothing but the best in decor, with the venue styled exceptionally by ‘The Three Piece Suit’ with all of their intricate lighting details creating the perfect romantic spark for Anita and Naren’s already special day. The Reception was an enjoyable event with heartfelt speeches by the sister of the bride and Naren’s best mate, an awesome choreographed bridal party dance, photo booth fun, and lots of music and laughter that lasted long into the night. All too soon, it was time to say goodbye to Anita and Naren – the blissful couple ended their evening in elegance, leaving for the city by Leonda’s signature boat, with friends and family waving them off from the candlelit balcony above!

Congratulations guys, it was my pleasure to be a part of two very distinct and wonderful events, all captured on camera, with some striking shots that I hope you will both love as much as I do! Wishing you all the best for the exciting times ahead, and I can’t wait to catch up again with the post wedding shoot!
